After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Christine Pearl Carmelita Richardson who passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie surrounded by her family. Survived by her mother, Edna Richardson, brothers Karl, Frank, and Daniel Richardson, sisters Kathie Gamna, Roberta Kwiatkowski and Heather MacDonald. Predeceased by her father Ronald Richardson. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many, Christine’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her three beautiful children, Jarred, Nicholas, and Carly, her fiancé Brandon Cousens, as well as all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Christine was a tenacious, energetic, hardworking soul. This was clearly visible in her everyday life, as well as in her career where she happily spent thirty years with the Simcoe County District School Board. Christine’s optimistic outlook on life was infectious, and her positive energy will continue to be a source of strength to all those she leaves behind. We all will miss her big Caribbean blue eyes, and her wide pearly white smile but this beauty will never be forgotten. Please feel welcome to join Christine’s family on Saturday, January 5th from 1-4 p.m. at Penetanguishene Secondary School where we will celebrate her life.
