It is with heavy hearts that Jason Ronald Bodner has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 50, just shy of his 51st birthday on Friday July 2nd 2021, due to a sudden heart attack.
Jason was born on July 8th, 1970 in Toronto, Ontario. Jason was preceded in death by his father Ronald William Bodner. He is survived by his mother Sandra (Sandy) Leone Bourne, stepfather Frederick (Bob) Robert Bourne, sister Michelle (Shelly) Sandra Rutledge, nephews Tyler Rutledge and Cody David Rutledge. A special mention to his long-time childhood friends, Dan, Roger, Al, Andrew, Ed, Jimmy (the ratpack) and Moose.
Jason loved his family deeply and was always the biggest cheerleader on the bench. He loved his family and friends very much and would do anything for anyone. His heart was bigger than life itself. If you needed a DJ, Jammin Jay was there to help you out. Jason loved his fishing and keeping up with his ebike, and excited to show you all the new lights and sound systems he installed.
We will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday July 10, 2021 between 1:00 and 4:00 pm – due to Covid, we request a drop in only to offer condolences to the family at #42-696 King Street, Midland, Ontario L4R 5B6 to celebrate Jason’s life.
